Responsibilities

• Design and maintain Web content and design for intranet and Web sites.
• Work with project manager, business analysts, business directors, and others to understand design and navigation requirements; translate requirements into design concepts and implementations meeting business approval.
• Communicate design through Web prototypes, interactive design prototypes, story boards, and other methods.
• Develop rapid graphical design prototypes that address business requirements, including Web site navigation diagrams, Web page design layouts, and consistent site design. Present these to business and IT representatives.
• Identify tasks and estimate work required for project discovery, design, development and deployment work.
• Provide daily task status updates to project manager.
  

Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of experience in graphics and Web design including experience with

• Web site navigation interactive design
• Site usability design
• Experience with development and operations of Web technologies in a Microsoft server environment;
• Experience developing original Web art work
• Highly computer literate with the ability to learn new technologies quickly
• Knowledge of the current state of and trends in Web site design
• Ability to work effectively with business clients and technical staff
• Portfolio with professional work samples brought to interview
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal

Knowledge/Skills

• Expert in DreamWeaver, Fireworks, Flash, Photoshop, graphical, and multimedia tools or similar Web design tools.
• Expert in HTML/XHTML, JavaScript, CSS.
• Familiarity with XML and Ajax would be an added advantage.

• Bachelors Degree / BFA from a reputed institute.
  

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the development of graphic design from initial concept to final completion, working with Creative Director, Graphic Artist, Accounts Manager and Programming teams to ensure the smooth delivery of all projects
• Job duties include planning, work allocation, monitoring and designing interactive presentations, flash presentations, websites etc
• Creating and executing design concepts and develops artwork for a variety of Multimedia activities
• Working with Creative Director to develop design concepts
• Ensuring consistency of brand and program identity throughout all stages of project developmen
• Should be a self-motivator and is responsible for creating/managing own workload
• Keep up with the latest trends/technology of the design techniques.
• Artist needs to be responsive to customer needs; able to create new and original ideas, thorough and detailed.
• Ensures quality control and that all materials have a consistent look and professional design.

• Candidate must have good visualization skill and ability to think of out of the box designs
• Must have strong presentation skills
• Strong and diverse portfolio
• Exceptional ability to apply Graphic design skills, including drawing/sketching, typography, concept ideation, color theory, use of texture, spacing and scale
• Propose strategies for layouts and artistic concepts and must be able to create visual images that engage and attract
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to multitask
• Experience: 3 - 6 years

Knowledge/Skills

• Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Flash, Javascript ,HTML and Coreldraw are mandatory

• Bachelors Degree / BFA from a reputed institute.
